Kambaba Jasper comes from Madagascar. It is also known as Crocodile Jasper because of the patterns that form on the surface of the stone. It consists of micro-crystalline Quartz and a primordial form of blue-green algae, one of the earliest forms of life on planet Earth. Specimens of this rock date back as far as 3.8 billion years.
