Janene first learned Tea Leaf readings (Tasseography) from her grandmother as a child, and it has been a part of her spiritual practice for over 50 years.
Janene has also taught tasseography for over 20 years and is currently working on a book that covers the cultural and historical origins of the art. Janene also reads Tarot, is a Reiki Master Teacher, and a Wisconsin Licensed Acupuncturist.
What is a Tea Leaf reading, also known as Tasseography?
Tasseography is the art of divination by interpreting patterns in tea leaves, coffee grounds, or wine sediments to gain insight into the future or for personal guidance. Tasseography has been a traditional method of divination across cultures, first noted in historical records as a meditative practice by Buddhist monks in China. Janene reads tea leaves as mirroring our aura and revealing the energies surrounding us.
Readings are $45 for 30 minutes, $65 for 45 minutes or $85 per hr. Please book ahead as reading appointments will fill up fast.
