Quote from Sensing Shades of Reality  (A Daily Reader of Buddhist Concepts and Journal) by The 9th Domo Geshe Rinpoche

"There are both short term and long term benefits of a consistent meditation practice.  In the short term we will discover and refine our best qualities; this will be a gradual and life saving process.  In the long term, those same good qualities will become our best allies, assisting us in uncovering our deepest true nature."
