September 11th - Introduction to Energy Medicine: What is it and How Does it Work?
Energy Medicine recognizes energy as a vital, living and moving force that determines a significant amount about our health and happiness. Energy Medicine originated in the Hindu and Chinese cultures and has been practiced for thousands of years. It is based on the principle that the body holds a vital life force–an energetic blueprint that can be listened to and supported for enhanced healing. An overview of Energy Medicine, its basic principles, and the many areas that it touches upon will be introduced during this class.
September 18th – Shift your Energy with Three Basic Practices:
Intention, Breath, & Meditation
Magic is at work during this class using three main practices: Intention, Breathwork, and Meditation. Used in combination, they work together to shape your mindset, guide your actions, and influence your subconscious. These combined practices are tools that can be used to help reduce stress and tension, anxiety, and to improve your sleep. Attendees will learn and practice techniques that work with the brain's natural ability to reinforce desired pathways and promote physical, emotional and mental well-being.
September 25th - Healing thru the Power of Sound
The practice of Sound Healing is ancient. Our ancestors used drums, rattles, singing bowls, song and chant to disperse negative energy in and around the physical body and entrain the mind into deep meditative states where the natural healing ability of the human body was stimulated. Sound can be paramount to lowering blood pressure, heart rate, and stimulating digestion. During this class, attendees will learn how sound can be used to achieve stress relief, deep states of relaxation, and jump start the body’s healing process. This session Includes a demonstration of frequency-based therapies using Tibetan and crystal bowls, tuning forks, rattles, drums, and other natural sound tools.
October 2nd - Energy Work and the Power of Crystals
Crystals are as old as the creation of the earth. Crystals have an energy pattern that is designed to assist with healing for the physical body, mind, and spirit. Students will learn about the origin and history of crystals used in healing work, why crystals are believed to be “alive”, how the different properties of crystals can help reduce stress, anxiety, and open pathways to peace and healing. Working with crystals can also enhance the manifestation of our intentions and assist in connecting to higher levels of wisdom and consciousness. Attendees will learn about the most important crystals to use for balance and healing in a chaotic world.
October 9th - Energy Work for Self-Care
We live in a hectic, fast-paced world and we all have a heavy load of demands on our time. Our bodies are not designed to handle chronic stress, and it can impact our physical and emotional health. Learn to tap into your own personal energy source for managing stress and engaging in self-care. Identify your trigger points and explore self-care techniques such as grounding, progressive muscle relaxation, focus exercises, holding points and more. Try them out to see what resonates so you have tools to help you manage stress.
October 16th - Ease your Stress with the Magic of Aromatherapy
Essential oils really shine in balancing our emotions. They can relieve stress by calming nerves, easing anxiety, reducing cortisol levels in the body, boosting mood and energy to restore balance and reduce the negative effects of stress on our health. When inhaled, they can send signals to the brain within seconds that influence mood, emotions and mental state. Discover how to incorporate the magic of aromatherapy into your life in easy ways. We will learn about some of the best essential oils for managing stress as well as specific recipes for various forms of stress and methods for application. Step into the magic
October 23rd - Energy Work to Balance the Chakras: Simple Exercises
Chakras, by definition, are energy centers within and outside the human body that help to regulate all its processes: from organ and immune system function and beyond to our feelings and emotions and connection to different levels of consciousness. Each chakra has its own vibrational frequency, color and sound, and governs specific functions that make up your body, mind, and spirit. During this class we will be exploring how energetic blockages can manifest themselves as physical disease and emotional distress. Simple exercises that assist in balancing the chakras will be taught and experienced.
