FOUNDATIONS OF ASTROLOGY
A NEW 3-PART SERIES STARTING NOVEMBER 6, 2025

Did you ever see an Astrology Chart and were stopped cold by its symbols, but in spite of the confusion, there was something about astrology that drew you to learn more? If yes is your answer, then this is this series is for you. Students will learn about the building blocks of astrology in a way that is made simple and understandable.
This three-part course is designed to give students a solid framework for understanding and interpreting the birth chart. Co-taught by two practicing astrologers, Brett d’Arras and Mila Leffel, the series introduces the essential building blocks of astrological study and equips students with a working “toolbox” they can immediately apply in their own chart work.
Class #1: Thursday, November 6, 2025 – 6:30-8:30p
Symbols and Elements
Learn the language of astrology by exploring the core glyphs and their meanings. We’ll cover the twelve zodiac signs, the planets, and the four elements, giving you the symbolic foundation to begin reading any chart. $44
Class #2: Thursday, November 13, 2025 – 6:30-8:30p
Astrology Chart Structure and Patterns
Discover how a chart is organized by looking at the angles, house types (angular, succedent, cadent), and different house systems. We’ll also explore chart patterns such as the bundle, splash, seesaw, and locomotive, helping you see how planetary distribution shapes a chart’s overall tone. $44
Class #3: Thursday, November 20, 2025 – 6:30-8:30p
Aspects & Aspect Patterns
Build on your foundation by studying the Ptolemaic aspects — conjunction, sextile, square, trine, and opposition — and learn how to interpret them in context. We’ll then dive into aspect patterns like the T-square, Grand Cross, Mystic Rectangle, and Yod, showing how these configurations reveal deeper dynamics in the chart. $44
By the end of this series, students will be able to approach a chart with greater confidence, recognizing its key structures, relationships, and nuances — and beginning the process of true interpretation.
Please Note: All students need to provide their date of birth, time and place upon registering for this class series. All students will receive a copy of their birth chart upon completion of this series. Each class is $44. Take all three for only $115.
What is Astrology? Astrology is a type of divination that forecasts the events of your life based on the interpretation of the stars, sun, and moon and the position of the planets on your date, time, and place of birth.
About your instructors:
Camila Leffel is an Astrology Educator, Reiki II Practitioner, Recovery Advocate, and Angel Light staffer. Mila is also an intuitive Oracle reader, founder and esoteric content creator for AquarioSoul LLC. She is a former elementary school teacher and creator of the B.A.S. I.C. Astrology course.
Brett d’Arras has been practicing Astrology, Tarot, Herbalism and Consulting for nearly three decades. Drawing from ancient wisdom and modern insights, Brett offers a unique blend of spiritual and practical guidance to help clients align with their Natal Promise. Formerly in management and sales, Brett transitioned to his calling as a consultant, teacher, and mentor. He is an active member of OPA, ISAR, and NCGR-Milwaukee, with a mission to empower others to reach their highest potential through Astrology and holistic health.
