Money Agate is composed of quartz, feldspar, rhyolite, and a fine-grained volcanic rock. It is not actually an Agate but has distinctive swirling patterns and earth tones that often resemble coins, which inspired its name. It is commonly found in Indonesia and China and is used to make beautiful decorative, carved specimen pieces. Money Agate is a very grounding stone and is said to inspire financial growth and to dissolve thoughts of fear and scarcity.
