An Introduction to Shamanic Ways of Learning

Tuesday, October 6, 2026

6:30p - 8:00p

What can traditional and earth-centered ways of learning teach us about our relationship with ourselves, one another, and the world around us?  This experiential introduction explores reflection, ceremony, rhythm, and relationship through an Indigenous-informed lens.

Through guided instruction, participants will experience a facilitated drum journey for inward reflection, intentional listening, and focused awareness, followed by an opportunity to share observations within a respectfully held circle. Rather than being told what an experience should mean, participants are invited to approach the practices with curiosity, notice what holds meaning for them, and develop their own awareness and discernment.

This class can be taken as a stand-alone class or as part of the Experiential Learning through an Indigenous Perspective 5-class series to earn a Certificate of Completion.

Ultimately, Kristina’s work helps people remember their own capacity to choose, grow, heal, and walk through life with greater intention.
