Shungite comes from Shunga, a village in Karelia, Russia. It is a rare black stone made of up to 99 percent carbon.
This crystal is absorbent—it is used to pull out toxins and disease from the body and then eliminates them safely. Shungite has the capacity to purify water and to decrease the effects of electromagnetic radiation of computers, cell phones, TV’s and microwaves.
Shungite has been referred to as a "miracle stone" because of its curative properties. It has been used for hair loss, muscle aches and pains, and inflammation. It is also prized for its fullerenes, which are tiny molecules consisting of carbon atoms which have strong anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties. The discovery of fullerenes was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1998.*Measurements are approximate.
Crystals vary in Sizes, Shapes, Colors, and Measurements.
