
A Celebration of Spring:
Balancing the Water Element with Kundalini Yoga, Sacred Sound, Venus Gong Bath
Spring Equinox is the perfect time to return to balance in every way. In this class we will balance the water element within and learn how to maintain this balance via Kundalini Yoga healing energy recipes called Kriyas, which are self-healing meditations and postures. As we connect with the Divine Teacher Within, Rosie will guide us on an inner journey with musical instruments. Together we will chant mantras for self-healing and enlightenment and learn how to balance our chakras and elemental constitution, as well as mind and emotions, quickly and efficiently.
This class is a perfect Kundalini Yoga introduction for those of you who have been wanting to experience this transformative spiritual healing practice and is open to all levels of yoga experience, engaging the most advanced yoga student as well as the beginner who has never attended a yoga class before. All postures are easy and accessible to all and may be modified, if necessary, or even practiced in a chair.
Bring a blanket large enough to lie down on or a yoga mat, or both, and a water bottle which holds 32 ounces of water, which we will all bless and drink together as part of our group journey returning to balance.
Rosie Rain is an experienced yoga teacher with 27 years of experience. She is certified in Iyengar based Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Street Yoga for Trauma, Abuse, Addiction and Homelessness, Prenatal Yoga, and Children's Yoga. She also practices Ashtanga Yoga of the primary series and teaches Meditative Chair Yoga for Elders. Rosie is a Reiki master teacher with 25 years of experience and a life-long crystal healer, sound healer, and musician. She has earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Holistic Wellness.
