Cinnabarite serves as an abundance attractor. It has been known throughout time as the “merchant’s stone" as it was used in ancient times as a means of trade or monetary exchange. It was also valued by ancient cultures for its red pigmentation which served as color for cave paintings. The red pigment, however, is known to contain mercury when the stone is unpolished, so it should never be used as an elixir, and it is recommended to wash your hands after use as a precaution.
On the spiritual side, Cinnabarite is believed to be a stone that is associated with Archangel Michael, and those that carry the stone with them will receive his protection. Cinnabarite is also a stone of power. It is said to release energy blockages and align one's energy centers.
